You think you're different? We are too!
Yes, we ARE different! First, we belong to TWO different denominations,
the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. Secondly,
even though we belong to two different denominations, we are an independent, covenantal church,
meaning there is no centralized authority or hierarchy that can impose any doctrine or form of worship on its members.
So, wherever you are on your journey, you are accepted in this congregation.
We are God's people of differing races, cultures, abilities, sexual orientations and stages of life and health.
We celebrate the gifts and the faith perspectives that come with our varied life experiences.
To live and minister together in this broad community helps us to know the wideness of God's love and mercy.
